Google Earth: Contour Lines

For my first blog post I created contour lines on Google Earth for Mt. Everest. I chose Mt. Everest because it is one of the best known mountains in the world. It took me a little while to figure out what to do in terms of mapping and drawing the lines since Google Earth has so many features; however, in the end I figured it out.
The elevation lines I came up with for Mt. Everest were 21704 ft, 21992 ft, 22315 ft, 25920 ft, and 27302 ft. This amazes me because I cannot even imagine seeing a mountain peak this high and I am in awe of the people who attempt to climb Mt. Everest.
